False Quindim: Learn 2 Different Ways to Do It







Learn 2 ways to prepare this sweet dear to Brazilians
Quindim is a typical Portuguese sweet and loved by many Brazilians. Despite being born in Portugal, in Brazil the original recipe was modified a little, replacing the almonds with the grated coconut. However, both are delicious and very tasty, as well as being a great option for the holiday seasons. So, look here not only 1 recipe of false quindim but 2, so you can try them at home.

False quindim
This recipe requires approximately 1 hour and serves about 20 servings.

Ingredients

Eggs: 5 units;
Grated coconut: 100 grams;
Sugar: 3 cups;
Milk: 1 cup;
Margarine or butter: 1 tablespoon.
Preparation Mode:

1. In a blender, mix the whole eggs, sugar, grated coconut and milk.

2. Beat in the blender until a homogeneous mixture is left.

3. Spread a pudding mold with margarine and sprinkle some sugar.

4. Place the contents in the mold and take to the oven in the water bath for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden brown.

Fake Quindim in a pot
The fake quindim in a pot is ideal for those who want something quick and tasty, in addition to being ready in a few minutes. This serves only one serving and carries very few ingredients.

Ingredients

Yolk: 1 unit;
Grated coconut: 2 tablespoons (or to taste);
Sugar: 2 tablespoons;
Milk: ¼ cup.
Preparation Mode:







1. In a bowl, mix the yolk, sugar, grated coconut and milk.

2. Manually deliver for 2 minutes. It does not need to become a homogeneous content, but it must be well mixed.

3. In a good, slightly heated nonstick mold, add the mixture. Keep it on low heat.

4. Stir the contents, being careful not to burn yourself, for approximately 5 minutes, until it is very creamy.

5. After it cools, serve with a little grated coconut sprinkled on top.

Tips to prepare the false quindim
If you want to give it even more flavor, you can spread the mold with coconut oil instead of margarine or butter.
If you prefer to feel the pieces of grated coconut, you can add it to the already beaten or mixed content, and stir slightly.
If you prefer, you can make both recipes using only the yolks and you can also sift them to remove the film that surrounds them, softening the strong smell of the egg.
