7 home remedies for dry hair

The search for natural solutions for dehydrated hair has suggested the use of ideas as unexpected as a mass of bananas, aloe vera or coconut oil on the head.

Dry hair is a nuisance and a problem. It is usually associated with the appearance of dandruff, itching, pain, and loss of scalp and the direct cause is lack of hydration. According to experts, it can develop when you wash your hair too often, when there is a reaction to a hair product or when you don't drink enough water. To avoid this there are several home remedies more or less effectively. However, experts warn that in any of these cases a small portion is applied first to see if there is sensitivity or adverse reactions.

Bananas

It seems like an ape idea, but making an amalgam of bananas to apply as a conditioner can be effective against the dry scalp. Research works relate the potassium, oils, and vitamins of this fruit with a way to moisten the hair, treat dandruff and improve hair health.

Aloe vera
Aloe Vera has stood out as an essential product with many benefits for the body. Studies indicate that anti-inflammatory effects can help quell the pain or itching of dry hair. Other research has proven its effectiveness in reducing peeling. In addition, it could be applied in the same way as when used with dry skin because it moisturizes.

Coconut oil
To moisten the body coconut oil is a highly recommended solution. In some cases, the effect can be applied to dry skin with benefits, so some specialists also extend the recommendation to hair. Although there is no scientific evidence that these are prominent positive effects, the truth is that there is no evidence that it is negative.

Olive oil
The properties of olive oil are increasingly praised. But a factor unknown to many is that it produces an anti-inflammatory effect that helps heal wounds and restore the skin. These effects could end the causes of a dry scalp if applied in the same way.

Tea tree oil
Research published in the journal Clinical Microbiology Reviews suggests that tea may have antibiotic, antiseptic and antifungal properties that can restore hair hydration. This would confirm the beliefs of popular culture in Asia about the multiple benefits of this oil for health. But it has a caveat: applied directly to the skin can be dangerous. To avoid the risks it can be accompanied by other oils such as coconut or olive oils.

Avocado
The favorite food of many nutritionists, avocado, is also part of this list of home remedies. Its effects are very similar to those of olive oil in the hair, but it should be applied as the banana mass mentioned above.

Yogurt and Egg
It may seem sticky and inappropriate, but a study in the BMC Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine has pointed out that it is a remedy that has worked among some people in Palestine. In case of allergy to any of these foods, its use is not advised.
