Can you reach with your hands at your feet?

Did you know that touching your hands with your feet, without bending your knees, is an indication that you have no heart disease

Heart disease is increasingly common in the world today, and that is why prevention is very important.

A group of researchers has found an obvious relationship between flexibility and the state of the heart and argues that if you can reach with your hands at your feet, this is a sign that the heart is healthy.

Can you reach with your hands at your feet?
A study published by the Heart and Circulatory Physiology Institute states that this method works perfectly. This test can be done at home and, basically, it is about reaching the toes with your fingers.

First, you must sit on the floor and extend your feet forward with your fingers up. Then, try to touch the tips of the toes with your hands. If you are flexible enough to touch your toes, it means that your heart is healthy and free of heart problems.

Relationship between flexibility and heart disease
This study was conducted by the University of North Texas, in the United States, and was attended by 526 participants between 20 and 83 years. During the test, blood pressure is measured and both the heart and arteries are controlled.

Through this study, the researchers concluded that there is a connection between the elasticity of the body and the arteries, mainly in participants over 40 years of age, and that those who have heart problems cannot touch their toes.

This method is quite effective. However, if you really want to evaluate the chances that you have a heart problem, always consult your doctor and perform the relevant tests.
